Texas Food Manager information
BACKGROUND
Every person involved in serving open food to the public is required to be trained and certified as a Texas Food Handler. Their must be one person at each location on duty who is a Certified Tbeexas Food Manager.
To be a Certified Texas Food Manager, State law requires that they pass a certified Food Manager exam. It is 75 questions timed at 1 ½ hours. It is very hard. Unless you thoroughly know the material you have no chance. I am Lisa Cox, GM of Texas Best Food Services Training LLC and a licensed TX DSHS Food Manager Instructor for 15 years now, and it is hard for me. Training is usually required to pass the test.
